The satellite Symposium "DNA profiling news", is incorporated in Forensica 2012 on May 22, 2012.
- it is one of key activites of the grant CZ.1.07/2.3.00/09.0080 - Education in the field of the forensic genetics (4N6gen). It is funded by European Science Foundation and the state budget of the Czech Republic through Czech Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports within scope of the Operational Programme Education to Compete.
- The aim of symposium is to educate Czech PhD. students and forensic scientists in subjects, currently underrepresented in their education curriculum: Bayesian interpretation of laboratory results and latest hot news in forensic genetics.
- The Symposium program includes lectures given by invited speakers (in English).
- While deliverable of this grant symposium is 70 attendants from the target group, anyone (up to 200 attendants) is welcomed to enjoy the presence of the top invited speakers. Attending the symposium is free of charge.
